"Committed to Excellence since 1986"

To Mentor, Coach, Counsel, Teach and Train candidates on how to "Maximize their Performance" during an Interview thereby significantly increasing their chances in obtaining an offer and landing a position with the organization.of their choice.

My name is Marc Lemis and am a graduate of City College New York with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.  I began my career in Sales and Marketing in 1973 and it spanned over a 12 years period with organizations such as Tektronix, Lee Data, and Chromatics.  In 1986, I went on my own and founded Par Excellence Executive Recruiting with a simple premise and philosophy and that is to identify and recruit the very best candidates for my clients (please see logos around page).  Over the past 30 years, as a professional recruiter, I placed over 300 hundred candidates with companies all over the world.   I am a member of IEEE and am fluent in French and Greek.

Over my 30 years career as a recruiter I have learned that regretfully, in general, most people don't know how to "Maximize their Performance" during an interview.  Please take notice that in the previous sentence I used the  word "Performance" and the reason simply that during the entire "Interview Process" you really have to be somewhat of an "Actor." Yes, "interviewing" is a bit of a game and only those candidates who are truly open-minded will allow themselves to learn the "Dos and Don'ts" and memorize the "Script", just like a good actor does.

I believe in getting right to the point... I will "Mentor, Coach and Motivate" you on how to best be prepared before, during and after an Interview. The truth of the matter is that I cannot guarantee you a "job" but I can promise you that if you take my "advice and counsel," you will do significantly better on an interview thereby increasing your chances in obtaining an offer and landing a position of your choice

Below are just some of the possible questions that are often asked during an interview.

  • What is your greatest weakness?
  • Tell me about yourself.
  • Why should we hire you?
  • What are your salary expectations? ...
  • Why are you leaving or have left your job?
  • Why do you want this job?
  • How do you handle stress and pressure?
  • How would you describe yourself?
  • How would you handle it if your boss was wrong?
  • If the people who know you were asked why you should be hired, what would they say?
  • Tell me why you want to work here
  • What are you looking for in your next position?
  • What are you passionate about?
  • What are your goals for the future?
  • What are your Salary Requirements?
  • What can you do for this company?

I will teach you not only how to best answer those questions but how to "deliver" those answers....Interviewing is somewhat of an Art.   And YES!! you can get much better in learning the "Art" of interviewing.

I thank you for visiting my website and I wish you "Good Luck" on your job hunt.
